I’ve always been a bit more fascinated with the fashion experience at Coachella than the music itself at the event. Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely have it on my bucket list to go next year since Queen Bey will be in attendance. But it’s always the different ways that Coachella goers choose to express themselves through their outfits, delivering their own beautiful, sometimes outrageous, interpretations of what I would call, desert hippie chic, that pulls me in every year. There’s a sense of freedom in it.
Coachella is an event that reinforces, for me at least, that style is a form of art and there are truly no limits to how you can choose to decorate your canvas. While there are so many articles every year that talk about “trends we want to see at Coachella” or “we’re so tired of seeing XYZ at Coachella”, I think if there was ever a moment to wear whatever the hell you want to wear, Coachella is that moment.
I hope you guys enjoy my Coachella inspired look. Hopefully next year I’ll be sending this to you live from a tent in the middle of the desert, waiting for Bey to grace the stage : )
All the love,
Myriha
