Every year fall inspires me to refresh my wardrobe. In that refresh, I also typically revisit some of those staple pieces that I look forward to bringing out of the closet as soon as the temperature drops below 50 degrees. This season, my selected pieces from Free Assembly, a new brand at Walmart, have been added to my collection of go-to, fall favorites.
You guys know how much I love a simple blazer and a turtleneck; it’s essentially my fall uniform for easy and comfortable dressing, offering a small touch of structure. So naturally, I gravitated towards the Free Assembly Women’s Boyfriend Blazer, which has the perfect oversized fit for easy layering, along with the Free Assembly Women’s Ribbed Turtleneck. The great quality of these two pieces and how well they work together will also allow me to pair them with different bottoms, season to season.
I finished off this look with the Corduroy Button Front Skirt. Admittedly, the skirt is a little out of my comfort zone, but I loved the color and texture for the season and could easily see myself adding thicker tights and a pair of over-the-knee boots to take this skirt into the winter months.
